Founded by <\/span>Mauro Zelaya<\/b>, a proud Honduran Latino, D&J started in 2014 in the garage of his own home. The name \u201cD&J\u201d comes from the initials of his children\u2014a daily reminder of what inspired him to take a bold leap into entrepreneurship.<\/span><\/p>\n

From Employee to Entrepreneur<\/b><\/h3>\n

Before starting his own business, Mauro worked for another pool company, where he learned the skills and knowledge that would lay the foundation for D&J. The early days were a time of <\/span>self-learning and determination<\/b>. Like any new venture, there were highs and lows, but Mauro held onto a motto that guided him:<\/span><\/p>\n

By 2019, Mauro was ready to take the next step: purchasing his own equipment, moving into his <\/span>own warehouse<\/b>, and fully operating independently.<\/span><\/p>\n

The growth was impressive: in 2015, the team was just <\/span>5 employees<\/b>, and by 2022, it had grown to <\/span>98<\/b>. Even during the challenges of the <\/span>COVID-19 pandemic<\/b>, D&J remained stable and continued to work steadily.<\/span><\/p>\n
